【目的】 多段変速を必要とする車輌に於いて、発進な どの抵抗の多いときには減速し、少ないときには自動的 に直結となる遊星歯車装置。
【構成】 変速機の駆動主軸の延長に太陽歯車を固着 し、更に回転伝動伝動軸を有する内歯歯車ケースを嵌入 し、ケースのデスク上に突出させた複数の軸に遊星歯車 を嵌入させ、内歯歯車及太陽歯車と噛み合せ抵抗の多い ときには遊星歯車の公転により減速させ、惰力で後車輪 の回転が早くなったときは、内歯歯車が遊星歯車の回転 を止めロックし、太陽歯車と直結としたものである。

CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle auxiliary transmission transmitting driving forces to rear wheels and provided on a main driving shaft to which the output of a main transmission controlled by a lever is transmitted, a sun gear 5 is fitted to the main driving shaft 4, and an internal gear case 8 having a rotation transmitting shaft 9 that is coaxial with the main driving shaft 4 is rotatably fitted into the main driving shaft 4. An epicyclic gear 6 is supported against a plurality of shafts 11 projected onto the disc of the internal gear case 8, and the sun gear 5, the epicyclic gear 6, and an internal gear 7 provided on the edge of the internal gear case 8 are engaged with one another. When the resistance of the gears to engagement is great, deceleration is caused by the rotation of the epicyclic gear 6 around the gear 5, and when the rotation of the rear axle is accelerated by inertia, the rotation of the epicyclic gear 6 is locked by the internal gear 7, and the gear 6 is directly connected to the sun gear 5.
